Following the non-renewal of two terms of the Supervisory Board members by the plenary General Assembly of June 27, 2018, and the resignation of five members on July 10, 2018, and in compliance with the statutes of the Tereos SCA cooperative, the Supervisory Board must nominate six members by co-optation within three months of position vacancy until the next plenary General Assembly.

Tereos’ Supervisory Board has announced that six new members have joined the Board and participated in their first meeting on September 27, 2018. The new members are Aurélie Bourgoin (Grand Est region), Bernard Fourdinier (Nord littoral region), Benoît Gandon (Grand Est region), Pierre-Yves de Lamarliere (Nord littoral region), Benoît Lhote (Grand Est region), and Stéphane Vermersch (Nord region).

With these nominations, Tereos’ Supervisory Board is now composed of 21 members representing all territories (Nord, Picardie, Grand Est, Sud de Paris) and crops (sugar beet, potato starch, alfalfa) for the cooperative’s 12,000 growers.

François Leroux, Chairman of the Supervisory Board stated that: “The plurality, independence and individual skills and experience of each member will be highly valuable to the Board as it continues in this delicate post-quota period. These six farmers share a desire to heal and unify our Board, and bring excellent regional representation to the group. This will allow the company to continue working towards the interests of all of our cooperative growers.”
