TÉO

HR Development and Performance Manager, Paris

TÉO

HR Development and Performance Manager, Paris

With a degree in Journalism and International Relations, I started my career in Communications before joining Tereos in 2018 to take up a role in Human Resources in Brazil. I was quickly promoted to become Recruitment Coordinator in 2019 while leading our Diversity and Inclusion programme. At the beginning of 2022, I had the opportunity to move to France to join the Group’s Human Resources team as Head of Talent Development and Performance Management. The Mobili’T programme has undoubtedly helped me explore new challenges to broaden the range of responsibilities that I handle.

Olivier

Continuous improvement manager, Aalst

Olivier

Continuous improvement manager, Aalst

I joined the Tereos adventure in 2013 as a process engineer at our plant in Aalst, in Belgium. Then I worked at our Palmital site in Brazil for the installation of a new maize starch factory and a glucose plant before returning to Belgium. In September 2021, I had the opportunity to run our plant in Cilegon, Indonesia, for nearly two years. Each time, with the support of my hierarchy and the human resources teams, I dared to take the plunge because I believe that mobility between our different sites and the sharing of experiences allow for a mutual improvement of skills !

Carlota

Head of Public Affairs, Paris

Carlota

Head of Public Affairs, Paris

After receiving my doctorate in chemistry, I began my career in 2013 as a railway R&D Project Manager before becoming an innovation financing consultant for two years. I joined Tereos in 2018 as R&D Partnerships Manager. In 2021, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone to discover new things. Thanks to the internal mobility programme that Tereos offers, I was able to progress towards the role of Head of Public Affairs. I was very well supported in my transition and I immediately felt that my new team was prepared to teach me this new job.

Xavier

Head of the Agricultural Department, Attin

Xavier

Head of the Agricultural Department, Attin

I started my career at Tereos as a Plain Agent at the Boiry sugar factory, before quickly progressing into a Sector Manager position. In 2020, my professional life took a new turn - I left my position to join the support functions of the Cooperative Members Hub based on our European campus. This development was a real springboard for my career, allowing me to reach the position of Head of the Agricultural Department connected to the Attin sugar factory in 2021. My job today consists of being a real link between the factory and the 700 cooperative members whose operations are based in this sector. My internal mobility was actually quite organic. In a matter of just six weeks, my job change became reality !

SUSTAIN’2030:
our commitments for tomorrow

Since 2015, Tereos has been committed to a sustainability plan that addresses every dimension of our business and runs throughout our value chain, around two major challenges – looking after the planet and taking care of those around us.

Built in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this CSR roadmap, called SUSTAIN’2030, commits us to provide a concrete response to the environmental changes we observe in our fields, to the need to promote and perpetuate the profession of farmer, to the new expectations of consumers in terms of food, health and mobility, as well as to the social challenges of employment and diversity.

Our ambition is to continue and accelerate our initiatives to make sustainability a true lever of value creation.
