Message from Tereos following the judgment rendered by the Court of Lille on 12 January 2023 concerning the incident at the Escaud\u0153uvres site in April 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We have taken note of the Court’s decision, which followed the Prosecutor’s recommendations, except for restoration as it did not sentence Tereos France to do so under penalty. The Court therefore considered that Tereos had already undertaken actions to restore the environment.<\/em><\/p>\n

However, it is regrettable that the Court did not consider the elements put forward by the defence regarding the unique and unprecedented nature of this incident, and the multiple causality and chain of responsibilities.<\/em><\/p>\n
