Local Impact: a multi-faceted study<\/b><\/p>\n
Learning about the local impact of a site enables us to not only gain a better understanding of the company\u2019s direct contributions into the local economy (salaries, purchases and expenditure, taxes paid etc.), but also to quantify these flows. This study highlights the direct (number of Tereos employees), indirect (purchases from its chain of suppliers) and induced impacts of a plant (consumption and expenditure by the site\u2019s employees and suppliers, and public administration expenses).<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c<\/span>Beyond our impact in the agro-industrial sector, this study allows us to measure our economic and social impact in a very precise way at a national, regional and departmental level. For example, the results reflect the positive impact of our presence on the job market: for each Tereos job created, nine others are created in France, almost half of which are in the Grand-Est region comprising Alsace, Champagne, Ardenne and Lorraine.
