Tereos possesses the most extensive portfolio of sweetening ingredients on the market, including sugar to starch products, as well as a wide range of plant proteins starches and fibres. Sweeteners, thickeners, flavourings, binders and anti-crystallisers, these ingredients are components of choice for confectionery, drinks, dairy products, pastries, sauces and soups, ready meals, etc.
Exerting control over the value chain from the upstream agricultural phase, Tereos guarantees food producers a secure supply and complete traceability at each stage of manufacturing of its products.

Our product reformulation offer, Sweet&You, which arose out of close collaboration between our R&D, marketing and sales teams, provides customised support for reducing calories and optimising sweetening power while maintaining the taste, appearance and texture of food and drink products.
At our site in Marckolsheim, France, we manufacture Ensemble™, a food based on plant proteins. We are also carrying out research on other sources of protein, such as protein crops, peas, algae, biomass, etc.
