Employer brand: new Tereos ambassadors!

Meet the employees who chose to become the faces of the campaign

At the end of May 2018, Tereos launched its employer brand, a project spearheaded by the Group’s Human Resources department to identify Tereos’s DNA as an employer, boost its attractiveness to prospective employees and make current employees even prouder to work there.

A major study was conducted among 250 people to kick-start this project: from different profiles (employees, newcomers, both successful and unsuccessful applicants, and headhunters) these 250 people took part in an exercise designed to explore their views on the Group, its corporate culture, career opportunities, teamwork style, type of tasks that get assigned, etc.

Tereos’ employer brand based on 4 pillars

  1. Passionate people : We are proud of our teams’ expertise and know-how. We bring the best from nature directly to our customers:  all our products are plant based.
  2. Empowered people : Our way of working fosters long term impact that provides visible results. We believe that people should fulfill their potential.
  3. Open minded spirit : We have local roots, business diversity and international presence offering enriching career opportunities.
  4. Team spirit : We develop a collaborative environment where individual performance serves collective success.

At the end of the survey, we realized that the terms ‘impact’ and ‘passion’ resurfaced again and again to define the Group,” explains Emmanuelle Drapeau, Talent Acquisition Manager at Tereos. To illustrate these strong ideas, Tereos launched the employer brand campaign, fronted by its employees and featuring the slogan: as a kid, you already wanted to change the world. “We launched a call for applications among in-house employees to give them a chance to personally represent their job, their company and their commitment. We got them to tell us a bit about their background, their childhood dreams and how much their position and current work at Tereos reflect their childhood aspirations,” Emmanuelle Drapeau adds.

From the call for applications, 14 ambassadors volunteered in Europe, Brazil and Indonesia to become the face of the Group’s vision and values by appearing in video portraits and a poster campaign that were distributed internally and externally.
